Glenn Milbury

The bold adventurer succeeds the best.

After completing four years of biology at the University of Guelph in 1978, Glenn was smitten by the travel bug and left Canada on the first of several trips abroad. He completed a graduate degree in Environmental Studies in 1987, and worked for Environment Canada as well as with regional governments in various environmental capacities. A sabbatical year allowed for several months of hiking and birding in Australia and New Zealand. Although Glenn has sampled many wild and natural surroundings on other continents, the allure of southern Vancouver Island’s ancient forests and coastal beauty has drawn him back.

Since 1994, Glenn has owned and operated Coastal Connections Nature Adventures Inc. and has taught natural and cultural history and Environmental Stewardship courses at Camosun College .
He has also been a naturalist and interpreter on cruise ships on the BC/Alaska coastal routes.
